From a construction boom to tech tie-ins, we’ve seen a wide range of cool new toys at this year’s Toy Fair, but one trend has trumped all: It’s all about fostering kids’ creativity in 2013.

Everything old was new again at Toy Fair this year. While last year was all about reinventing the classic toy, this year toymakers are embracing the return of the oldies.

Pictured: Lego’s Bricks and More sets harken back to the brick tubs we loved as kids. They come with a base plate, Lego mini figure, and plenty of pieces to let kids’ imaginations run wild.
