There is nothing more beautiful than architecture, some of which shapes the world we live in and formed our history. Many architecture buildings tell us much about the people who went before us and the history in those times.
dblo Associates residential architects London is a team of innovative and forward-thinking architects who are passionate about the history of architecture and how this influences modern day design.
In Ancient Egypt and other early societies, people believed in the omnipotence of Gods, with many aspects of daily life carried out with respect to the idea of the divine or supernatural and the way it was manifest in the mortal cycles of generations, years, seasons, days and nights.
Due to the scarcity of wood, the two predominant building materials used were sun-baked mud brick and stone, mainly limestone, but also sandstone and granite in large quantities.
The core of the pyramids consisted of stone, mud bricks, sand or gravel. For the casing, stones were used that had to be transported from farther away, predominantly white limestone from Tura and red granite from upper Egypt.
Dblo Architects recognise the importance of the history of architecture and its fundamentals which have shaped modern architecture.
